ER16 Ball Bearing Collet Nut
The two-part design of these ball bearing ER collet nuts allows both inner and outer nut to rotate independently of each other, with the inner flange remaining stationary relative to the collet when tightening. This reduces the torque required when tightening and eliminates friction and twisting of the collet within the nut. The result is reduced runout, providing superior rotational accuracy and higher clamping forces on the cutting tool when compared to standard ER collet nuts. The reduced friction makes it far easier to close a collet down to the smaller end of its clamping range.
Interchangeable with all other ER16 collet nuts conforming to the DIN 6499 standard, these nuts feature a M22 x 1.5mm internal thread. Each collet nut is manufactured from an alloy steel, hardened to Rc54-56, precision CNC machined for guaranteed rotational accuracy. For use with ER16 A type collet wrenches. ©
